ktour
From Korean tourism to Southeast Asia

Roadmap

In H2 2026 ktour adds 5 Southeast-Asian languages and expands into kwork — a foreign-worker employment & part-time matching marketplace. The 5-phase roadmap below is aligned with our government grant utilization plan.

  1. 2026 Q1

    Phase 1 — Platform foundation

    Done

9-language i18n with next-intl, 16 KTO TourAPI services integrated, Gemini 2.5 Flash chatbot, locale-aware Google Maps, 14 domain pages shipped.

  2. 2026 Q2

Phase 2 — AI translation pipeline

    Done

200K-pair Korean–multilingual glossary built from AI Hub 221; Ollama + Gemma 4 E4B domain fine-tuning; auto-translation deployed across Korean-only domains (camping, trails, eco, accessible, pet, jobs).

  3. 2026 Q3

Phase 3 — Own GPU inference + SEA languages

In progress — primary grant utilization

Build 2× NVIDIA H100 NVLink inference cluster on vLLM. Add Vietnamese, Thai, Indonesian, Filipino, Khmer — reaching 1M+ Southeast-Asian foreigners in Korea.

  4. 2026 Q4

    Phase 4 — B2B revenue

    Planned

Affiliate integrations (Booking/Klook/Agoda/Hanatour), medical-tourism lead-gen (per-lead pricing), white-label API SaaS for foreign travel agencies.

  5. 2027 H1

    Phase 5 — kwork: foreign-worker matching

    Planned

Launch a marketplace matching foreign workers (D-2/F-2/F-4/F-5/F-6/E-7) with Korean employers on the same multilingual stack and GPU. Operate after Employment Brokerage notification.

  6. 2027 H2 – 2028

    Phase 6 — Global expansion

    Vision

Local presence in source countries (Vietnam, Thailand, Indonesia). End-to-end inbound Korea funnel — discovery, matching, transport, settlement — unified on one multilingual platform. Pursue ODA and certified social-enterprise status.
