Overview
The birth of Korea's Di Matteo was inspired by actor Lee Won-seung's visit to Di Matteo, a famous pizzeria in Naples, the home of authentic Italian pizza, during a recording for a KBS program. Having challenged himself to make authentic Neapolitan pizza during an intense eight-day, seven-night intensive training camp, he became captivated by the unique taste of Neapolitan pizza and decided to introduce it to Korea, leading to the opening of Di Matteo. The Daehak-ro branch consists of a first floor and a 1.5 floor; the first floor features seating with no floor level differences to ensure more convenient access for the disabled and the elderly.
