Overview
The Gyeongsan Imdang Relics Exhibition Hall is a museum that vividly showcases ancient culture by capturing the lives and deaths of the people of Apdokguk, an ancient state in the Gyeongsan area. It introduces the culture of the ancient Apdok people through relics and artifacts excavated from the Imdang-dong and Joyeong-dong areas of Gyeongsan, which were centers of Apdokguk, and the Bujeok-ri area of Apnyang-eup. It possesses the function of lifelong learning, allowing for the comprehensive and systematic research and preservation of cultural heritage from the ancient Apdokguk period, as well as the opportunity to experience and learn about the culture of that time. The two permanent exhibition halls consist of the Imdang Relics Room, which views relics and artifacts, and the Natural Relics Room, which analyzes 359 human skeletal remains and approximately 25,000 pieces of flora and fauna data. In addition, there are special exhibition rooms and a children's experience room.
