Suta Udon Gen Main Branch is a traditional Japanese hand-pulled udon restaurant that has carried on a family business for two generations. It features an open kitchen where you can watch the noodles being kneaded. The udon is categorized into three main types: hot udon, mixed bukake udon, and dipping zaru udon, with various menus available within each category. For first-time visitors, it is recommended to try bukake or zaru udon to better experience the texture of the hand-pulled noodles rather than the hot udon. In zaru udon, the noodles are served on ice and should be dipped in the sauce, similar to eating soba noodles. Business ends once the noodles are sold out. It has been selected for five consecutive years from 2018 to 2022 in the Blue Ribbon Survey, a South Korean gourmet guidebook.
